Am I Eligible?
Students that are eligible to attend summer school based on the the following criteria:
- Credit Recover- Students who are enrolled in that option, have failed the course with a 50-59, and can earn a minimum passing score of 60.
- Competency Recover- Students who have yet to show mastery of a course competency and need to reassess. Once completed, these students can have their grade restored to a score exceeding the minimum passing grade.
- Express Course-Students who have failed a core course 2 or more times have an opportunity to earn credit during the 4 weeks of summer school (vs. 18 weeks during the school year). Express students must attend daily for the entire 4 weeks. Successful completion of an express course results in a Pass (P) on student's transcript.
Do I need to Register?
There is no need to register, if a student meets the criteria they are automatically enrolled in the Summer Academic Program.
Will Transportation be Provided?
There will be NO transportation offered this year.
